Job summary

WORKFORCE INC. in Pasay City, Metro Manila,is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join as a full-time professional.

You will conceptualise and develop architectural solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory standards, transforming ideas into functional, aesthetically pleasing designs. The role involves creating detailed drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring designs comply with local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• PRC license or certification recognised in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 2 years' architectural design experience with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed design proposals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Create and prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard design software.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine designs and ensure project alignment.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare presentation materials, 3D visualisations, and renderings to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Manage the design development process from conceptual stages through to construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor design implementation and address any challenges.
• Contribute to design reviews and participate in collaborative problem-solving sessions.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our company in Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a vital part in conceptualising and developing architectural solutions that meet our clients' needs whilst adhering to regulatory standards and project objectives. You will be at the forefront of transforming ideas into tangible, functional designs that enhance both aesthetics and usability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed design proposals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
• Create and prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard design software
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine designs and ensure project alignment
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related design discipline from an accredited institution
• Professional architecture licence or certification recognised in the Philippines (PRC registration preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in architectural design, with a proven portfolio demonstrating design capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards applicable in the Philippines
• Excellent spatial visualisation skills and ability to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and team members
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and project management abilities
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is advantageous
