Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking an Application Architect to design and govern the organization's enterprise application landscape.
You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that support growth and digital transformation. The role requires leading architecture governance, guiding modern integration patterns, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment.
The Application Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and continuously evolving the organization's enterprise application landscape. This role ensures that applications, platforms, and integrations are scalable, secure, well-integrated, and aligned with business objectives. The Application Architect serves as a strategic bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex business requirements into cohesive, future-ready solutions that support operational excellence, digital transformation, and long-term growth.
1. Architecture Design & Governance
Define and maintain the enterprise application architecture blueprint across all business systems and platforms.
Establish architecture standards, design patterns, governance frameworks, and technology guardrails.
Drive application portfolio decisions, including build vs. buy vs. integrate strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Lead architecture reviews and design approvals for major application initiatives and enhancements.
Manage technical debt and guide modernization efforts toward a target-state application architecture.
2. Systems Integration & Data Architecture
Define integration architecture across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party solutions.
Establish API strategies, middleware standards, and enterprise data exchange frameworks.
Ensure data consistency, integrity, and governance across interconnected systems.
Design interface standards, messaging protocols, and integration patterns between internal and external platforms.
Support event-driven and service-oriented architecture initiatives to improve scalability and interoperability.
3. Solution Design & Technology Enablement
Provide architectural oversight for application implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable and compliant technology solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies, including cloud, SaaS, AI, and analytics platforms.
Conduct feasibility assessments and technology evaluations to support innovation and business growth.
Support RFP/RFI activities through architecture guidance, vendor assessments, and technology recommendations.
4. Security, Compliance & Risk Management
Apply security-by-design principles across enterprise applications and integrations.
Assess architectural risks and define mitigation strategies for proposed system changes.
Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies for critical applications.
Collaborate with Information Security teams to strengthen data protection, access controls, and cyber resilience.
Ensure application architecture complies with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8-10 years of experience in software development, enterprise applications, systems integration, or technology delivery.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Application Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar architecture-focused role.
Strong experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HCM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, or other business-critical platforms.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Understanding of application architecture principles, enterprise integration patterns, and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Experience with API design, event-driven architecture, and modern integration approaches.
Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modeling, Master Data Management (MDM), and data governance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance across multiple teams and business functions.
TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and enterprise transformation environments is an advantage.
