Job summary

WeSupport Incorporated is hiring a Software Architect to lead requirements definition, solution design and systems integration. You will architect end-to-end solutions, covering application, database, infrastructure and integration components with a focus on scalability and security.

You will translate requirements into high-level designs, coordinate with stakeholders, and produce detailed documentation and guidelines to support delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of software development experience with system architecture, infra design and database structure.
• At least 2 years in web or mobile app development.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and software design patterns.
• Proficiency in PHP, Java, Python or .NET.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Web service integration via SOAP/REST/JSON/XML.
• Experience with integration protocols such as SMPP, EMI, UCP, HTTP.
• Version control with SVN or Git.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

Responsibilities

About the role

This is a Software Architect role focused on requirements definition, solution design, systems integration, and technical leadership. You will provide technical solutions for projects including application architecture, database architecture, infrastructure, and integration, while architecting end-to-end solutions with detailed designs to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in proposal generation by reviewing requirements, designing application features and architecture, and developing development estimates

• Translate user requirements into high-level application design and coordinate specifications with project stakeholders

• Provide technical solutions for projects such as Application Architecture, Database Architecture, Infrastructure, and Integration

• Architect end-to-end solutions with detailed designs encompassing system components, interfaces, and integrations to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and deliverability

• Design system components and implement integration strategies for connecting disparate systems and applications

• Define software modules and ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across the solution landscape

• Apply standard data modeling and design techniques based on detailed requirements

• Develop relevant physical design elements and maintaining mechanisms for storing and accessing data

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines

• Conduct architecture reviews to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to approved technical solutions

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course

• At least 5 years of working experience in Software Development, providing technical solutions such as system architecture, infrastructure design, and database structure

• At least 2 years of experience in software engineer roles such as web and mobile application development

• In-depth experience/knowledge in OOP and software design

• Software development languages such as PHP, Java, Python, .NET

• Infra as a Code such as Terraform and Cloud Formation

• Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)

• Any integration protocols such as SMPP, EMI, UCP, and HTTP

• Version control (e.g. SVN, GIT)
