Job summary

UPTC is seeking a Software Architect/Technical Architect to design scalable, end-to-end technical solutions across application architecture, databases, infrastructure, and integrations. You will translate business needs into high-level designs and define architecture blueprints.

You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders, review designs for quality, security, and performance, and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years in software development and technical solutions.
• 2+ years in web/mobile app development.
• In-depth experience/knowledge in OOP and software design.
• Proficiency in PHP, Java, Python, or .NET.
• IaC such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• API integration skills: SOAP/REST/JSON/XML.
• Version control: Git/SVN.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Trello, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide technical solutions covering application architecture, database, infrastructure, and system integration

• Design system integrations and ensure proper data flow and interoperability between applications
• Develop data models and database designs based on business and technical requirements
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation guidelines
• Conduct architecture and technical reviews to ensure compliance with standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements
• Review technical designs and code to ensure alignment with architectural principles and quality standards
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
• Research and evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support continuous improvement

About the role

This is a Software Architect / Technical Architect position responsible for designing and providing technical solutions covering application architecture, database, infrastructure, and system integration. About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course.

• At least 5 years of working experience in Software Development, providing technical solutions such as system architecture, infrastructure design, and database structure.

• At least 2 years of experience in software engineer roles such as web and mobile

  application development.

• In-depth experience/knowledge inOOP and software design.

• Software development languages such as PHP, Java, Python, .NET

• Infra as a Code such as Terraform and Cloud Formation

• Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)

• Any integration protocols such as SMPP, EMIUCP, and HTTP

• Public or social media APIs like google API and others

• Version control (e.g. SVN, GIT).

• Debugging and optimization skills

• Collaboration and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Asana, or Trello

• Cloud Experience in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud is a plus.

• Frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman is a plus
