We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Sales – APAC to lead our regional commercial strategy and accelerate revenue growth across Asia-Pacific.
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our presence in APAC markets outside the Philippines, growing existing client relationships, acquiring new customers, and building a scalable regional sales organization. This role will initially be based in the Philippines but will have responsibility for developing business across multiple countries in the APAC region.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and will be comfortable managing enterprise sales cycles, developing partnerships, working across cultures, and creating new market opportunities. The person will also collaborate closely with Operations and IT to ensure that our services, technology, and client experience consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
Develop and execute the APAC sales strategy in alignment with the company’s overall growth objectives.
Identify priority markets, industries, client segments, and service opportunities across APAC, excluding the Philippines.
Establish country-level go-to-market plans, revenue targets, sales channels, and market-entry strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, client expectations, and regulatory or commercial developments relevant to the region.
Identify opportunities for direct sales, strategic partnerships, channel development, and cross-border expansion.
Own regional revenue growth, new-business acquisition, client retention, and expansion targets.
Grow existing business through account development, cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and strategic relationship management.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline across multiple APAC countries.
Lead complex enterprise sales opportunities from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Establish and monitor key commercial metrics, including pipeline value, conversion rates, win rates, sales cycle, average deal size, retention, and revenue performance.
Build relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams, HR leaders, operations leaders, technology teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
Generate new business through strategic prospecting, industry networking, referrals, partnerships, events, and targeted account-based selling.
Develop compelling proposals, presentations, commercial models, and client-specific solutions.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure that commercial terms support both client value and company profitability.
Develop a strong understanding of each target market and adapt the sales approach to local business practices and customer needs.
Maintain strong relationships with key regional clients and strategic accounts.
Act as an executive point of contact for important customers and business partners.
Identify client risks, growth opportunities, service gaps, and opportunities for improved customer experience.
Work with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, service delivery, renewals, and expansion.
Support the resolution of escalations and ensure that client commitments are communicated clearly across the organization.
Build and lead a high-performing APAC sales organization over time.
Define the required team structure, roles, territories, hiring plan, compensation model, and performance expectations.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop sales and business development professionals in different APAC markets.
Establish a disciplined sales culture based on accountability, collaboration, customer value, and measurable results.
Create sales processes, playbooks, qualification standards, reporting structures, and training programs.
Identify future leaders and build a succession plan for the regional sales function.
Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that commercial commitments are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with operational capacity.
Provide Operations with clear visibility into expected volumes, client requirements, implementation timelines, and service-level expectations.
Participate in solution design, transition planning, service reviews, and client escalation management.
Use operational feedback and client insights to improve sales proposals, service offerings, and customer retention.
Ensure a smooth handover from sales to implementation and service delivery.
Partner with the IT and Product teams to identify technology opportunities that improve client experience and strengthen market competitiveness.
Translate client requirements into clear business and functional requirements.
Support the prioritization of system enhancements, integrations, dashboards, automation, and reporting capabilities.
Participate in solution discussions, product demonstrations, testing, implementation planning, and client feedback sessions.
Help ensure that the company’s technology roadmap supports regional growth and changing customer expectations.
Identify innovative ways to use technology to improve efficiency, transparency, turnaround time, and service quality.
Introduce new ideas, sales approaches, partnerships, service models, and market opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand the company’s product and service portfolio across APAC.
Conduct regular reviews of market performance and recommend corrective or growth initiatives.
Encourage a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and commercially focused innovation.
Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, client meetings, and business forums.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
10+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, strategic accounts, or commercial leadership.
At least 5 years of experience leading sales teams or regional commercial functions.
Demonstrated experience managing sales across multiple APAC countries.
Proven track record of achieving revenue growth, winning new clients, expanding existing accounts, and building sales pipelines.
Experience selling to enterprise and multinational clients.
Strong understanding of consultative, solution-based, and value-based selling.
Experience with strategic partnerships, channel development, and market expansion.
Strong commercial negotiation and contract-management skills.
Experience working closely with Operations, Technology, Product, Customer Success, and senior leadership teams.
Willingness to travel within APAC when required.
Must be willing to work on‑site in the Philippines.
