Job summary

Equinix is hiring for a Senior Manager, APAC Regional Payroll. You will lead multi-country payroll delivery, enforce controls, and drive standardization across APAC. Manage vendor performance and audit readiness while partnering with HR, Finance, and global payroll teams to ensure compliant, scalable payroll delivery.

You will shape payroll transformation efforts, balance transformation with BAU, and mentor managers and senior staff in a dynamic regional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years payroll/stock experience in a multinational environment.
• 5+ years people leadership experience.
• Expert understanding of regional payroll processes, controls, and audits.
• Experience leading payroll transformation and vendor management across APAC.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with payroll tools such as ADP, SAP, Workday.

Responsibilities

• Guide operational payroll decisions across multiple countries.
• Provide authoritative payroll guidance to stakeholders and seniors.
• Translate statutory and system requirements into actions and updates.
• Lead standardized payroll processes, calendars, and controls.
• Ensure SOX controls and audit readiness.
• Lead vendor performance discussions and cost control.
• Approve outputs within delegated authority.
• Drive payroll transformation across APAC markets.
• Coordinate automation opportunities and cross-functional change.
