Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Payroll Operations Supervisor to oversee APAC payroll across multiple countries in an outsourced environment. You will liaise with payroll vendors, DHCM, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll service delivery.

You will lead governance, vendor performance, and continuous improvement while developing a high-quality employee payroll experience across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of payroll operations experience with APAC exposure.
• Minimum 2–3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, statutory compliance, and vendor management.
• Experience managing service delivery and performance metrics.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee payroll operations across assigned APAC countries, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant services.
• Monitor performance, KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery to meet standards.
• Manage escalated payroll, compliance, and vendor-related issues with timely resolution.
• Serve as primary escalation point and build partnerships with business units and vendors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory obligations across supported countries.
• Lead payroll-related system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members with clear expectations and feedback.
• Support strategic projects, governance, workforce planning, and reporting.
