Job summary

Rippling seeks a Global Payroll Operations Supervisor for APAC to scale our payroll operations across multiple countries. You will lead a team, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliant payroll execution while expanding our APAC footprint.

With 7+ years in global payroll and 2+ years in people management, you will drive process improvements, automation, and strong customer-facing support across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in a global payroll processing role.
• Minimum of 2+ years managing payroll operations personnel.
• Minimum 4+ years in a client-facing role.
• Strong APAC payroll experience (Philippines, China, Japan, etc.).
• Experience with in-house and partner payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations specialists to meet payroll timelines and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and scale the payroll team for market expansion.
• Monitor progress and report on requirements and deadlines.
• Develop scalable processes with minimal manual errors.
• Interface with government agencies, partners, and customers to resolve issues.
• Drive automation and collaborate with Payroll Engineering and Product teams.
