Job summary

Turnitin, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist for APAC to manage end-to-end payroll processing across Asia-Pacific. You will work with vendors CloudPay and PayAsia/Deel, ensuring compliance with country-specific statutory requirements and delivering a positive employee experience.

This remote-first role requires collaboration with HR, Finance, Legal, and Benefits across time zones, and supports Turnitin employees worldwide. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years APAC payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent payroll experience.
• 3–5 years multi-country/APAC payroll experience.
• Experience with CloudPay and PayAsia/Deel is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with APAC statutory requirements across various countries.
• Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools.
• Flexible hours across APAC/EMEA/US time zones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end payroll workflows across APAC regions.
• Coordinate multi-country payroll processing across entities.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and audit reviews.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Benefits.
• Ensure timely tax reporting and compliance with authorities.
• Respond to employee inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Escalate payroll discrepancies to the Senior Manager.
