Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee finance operations across APAC, including Manila and Australia.

The role reports to the Group CEO and directs reporting, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and team leadership. You will drive strategic planning, process improvements, and financial systems implementation while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Experience in financial management, and an international business environment
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple countries and cultures within the APAC region.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the two accounts in Manila and the one account in Australia.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process for the accounts in Manila, collaborating with department heads to align departmental budgets with organizational objectives.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow for the accounts in Manila and Australia to ensure liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, tax laws, and international accounting standards; develop internal controls.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals in Manila and collaborate with accountants managing the Manila and Australia accounts.
• Strategic Planning & Business Development: Work with senior management to develop financial strategies supporting APAC growth and investment decisions.
• Technology & Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
