HRTX is seeking a Financial Controller (Corporate) to lead the group’s financial operations, working with senior leadership to ensure robust governance and risk management. The role centers on statutory, tax and reporting, aligning budgeting with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include invoicing, reporting, accounting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, risk management, and supervising the finance team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting, finance and commercial roles
• 3+ years as Financial Controller or equivalent
• CPA/CA qualification required or equivalent
• Strong ownership of financial reporting, tax, internal controls and compliance
• Strong negotiation skills with third-party vendors

Job description

The Financial Controller (Corporate) will be responsible for the financial operations of the group,is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and provides support and assistance with keycommercial decision making. There is a key focus and requirement to work closely with allsections of the business to ensure delivery of the company's strategic plan. The PrimaryFunctions include:

• Developing and owning financial and internal controls of the group, including policies andprocedures to ensure robust governance and risk management.
• Leading statutory, financial, tax, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information incompliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Supporting the CFO and FC (FP&A) with the budgeting and financial planning processes,ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Assisting in measuring business performance, driving improvements, and providing
  actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Supporting client contractual negotiations, including evaluating financial terms, pricingstructures, and long-term profitability implications

Qualification and Experience:

• 10+ years experience in accounting, finance and commercial
• 3+ years experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent
• Certified Public Accountant Qualified or Chartered Accountant
• High level of proficiency and ownership of financial reporting, tax, internal controls andcompliance
• Effective negotiator with third-party vendors and able to deliver targeted business or
  contract terms with favorable outcomes
• Desired if with:
  • offshore resource resource management or B2B service industries
  • Australian experience
  • Philippines experience especially PEZA and different government policies

Personal skills and Qualities:

• Strong business and commercial acumen with strong negotiating skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, with experience in making presentations ordelivery of a professional service. Highly professional always
• Proven experience in leading a team
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with high abstract reasoning ability. Precise, accurate,attention to detail a must
• Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners
