Job summary

Hellmann East Europe Group is looking for an Accounting Operations Associate to join our hybrid team and help keep AR processes accurate and efficient.

You will generate invoices, monitor overdue balances, reconcile customer accounts, process credits, and prepare AR reports while ensuring compliance and confidentiality. You’ll collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and Billing: Generate and send invoices promptly; verify data; coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
• Collections: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances; contact customers via phone, email, or mail; negotiate payment plans.
• Account Management: Reconcile customer accounts; apply payments; process credit memos and adjustments as needed.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular AR status reports; analyze aging; provide insights to improve processes.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to policies; maintain records; assist audits with docs.
