Job summary

Western Union is seeking a compliance-focused professional to oversee QA reviews and improve processes within the compliance organization. You will train teams on evolving AML/TF trends, review controls, and escalate concerns when necessary.

Candidate should have a finance/business degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in AML compliance or risk management, and strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in financial services, compliance or risk management is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AML compliance, or risk-based compliance.
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure oversight standards are met.
• Provide actionable feedback with recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular QA reviews to assess accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Analyze customer activities to identify risks and escalate concerns.
• Lead calibration sessions to ensure consistent decision making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation where applicable.
• Stay updated on AML/CFT typologies and regulatory changes and train teams.
