Job summary

Western Union seeks an AML Compliance Manager to drive the analysis of suspicious activity, oversee a team of up to 15, and ensure adherence to AML requirements across assigned functions. The role liaises with compliance and law enforcement, analyzes trends, and develops policy recommendations to reduce risk.

You will mentor staff, manage workloads to meet SLAs, and lead initiatives on process improvements and high-risk approvals while maintaining strong English communication and analytical

Qualifications

• Higher education or equivalent experience in AML Compliance, investigations or risk-based role within financial services.
• Strong MS Excel skills; Power BI preferred.
• Ability to mentor and lead the team.
• Excellent communication, time management and teamwork.
• Fluency in English.
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 15 and implement AML procedures to minimize risk.
• Oversee daily operations, motivate team, meet objectives.
• Analyze trends, contribute to AML projects and policy improvements.
• Maintain current desk procedures.
• Manage day-to-day workload to meet SLAs.
• Identify process improvements and recommend changes.
• Process high risk approvals per proper protocols.
