Job summary

Western Union is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders, drive process improvements, and support AML Compliance initiatives in a hybrid Manila office.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, documenting processes, and delivering practical business solutions while coordinating with cross-functional teams. This position requires 1+ year of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering), or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience facilitating meetings, managing priorities, coordinating resources, and driving projects to completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point – required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to assess new opportunities and estimate solution delivery efforts.
• Gather, analyze, and document AML Compliance business requirements.
• Track, manage, and report on change requests, projects, and initiatives.
• Conduct impact assessments and support post-implementation reviews.
• Facilitate requirements and solution discussions across business and technical teams.
• Identify and support business process improvement opportunities.
• Perform time studies and analyze operational efficiencies.
• Update and maintain process maps for governance and improvement initiatives.
