Job summary

Crossover is seeking a Head Of Talent Operations to design and operate scalable systems for hiring outcomes. This remote, global role collaborates with senior leaders and emphasizes hands-on AI-driven process design.

The position offers high autonomy and accountability and pays $100 USD per hour with a weekly cadence, entering into a contractor agreement. The successful candidate will own end-to-end operational systems, drive improvements, and ensure hires align with business needs and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, people or talent operations, or similar system-heavy roles.
• Direct experience hiring for your own team with accountable outcomes.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end operational systems.
• Experience creating org artifacts: role specs, org charts, ladders, RACIs, workflows.
• Strong written communication with SOPs or post-mortems used by others.
• Working knowledge of U.S. hiring practices and regulations.
• Comfort working with senior leaders without formal authority.
• Practical use of AI in daily operational work with quality focus.
• Availability for at least 6 hours overlapping U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and continuously improve systems that deliver high-quality hires on time.
• Work with senior stakeholders to clarify constraints and surface trade-offs.
• Use AI daily to generate, test, analyze, and refine system components.
• Own the work from idea to results with no handoffs.
• Identify patterns and diagnose root causes to improve the system.
