Job summary

ProSource is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in a hybrid/remote setting. This role blends manual exploratory testing with test automation across web and native mobile apps, with AI-first tooling to accelerate design, scripting, and defect analysis.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering, own end-to-end quality, and help shift quality left. The position requires 3–5 years of QA experience, strong mobile testing, API testing, SQL validation,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional QA experience covering both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing native mobile apps on iOS and Android (real devices and emulators).
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium or WebdriverIO.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants for test authoring, debugging, and documentation.
• Ability to write SQL queries to validate data.
• API testing experience with Postman or REST tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Overlap with US Eastern Time for core hours.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for features across web and mobile apps.
• Build and extend automated test coverage in Playwright and mobile framework.
• Leverage AI Tools to accelerate test design, scripting, and defect analysis.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering early in development.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document defects with logs and traces.
• Validate APIs and backend behavior using Postman and SQL.
• Maintain up-to-date test plans, automation coverage, and QA processes.
