Job summary

Genpact is seeking a QA Automation Hybrid Testing Engineer - Playwright in Makati City. You will design, develop and maintain Playwright-based automated test suites with a focus on AI-assisted creation and refinement, while collaborating with developers, product owners and QA teams to ensure robust coverage across key user journeys.

You will also integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reporting dashboards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Playwright test automation across web apps.
• Backend testing, data validation, querying and reporting.
• UI tech stack, API and database proficiency.
• Experience using Claude Code or AI tools for test script generation.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving with Git and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Playwright-based automated test suites, with emphasis on AI-assisted test creation and refinement.
• Use Claude Code to plan tests, generate scripts, optimize, and document AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA teams to ensure robust automated coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, maintain reports, and drive automation improvements.
• Occasional manual validation may be required.
