Job summary

The role requires a JD, bar admission, 5+ years in corporate or law firms, familiarity with SaaS licenses and AI-related contract structures, and excellent English communication across global teams.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree with bar admission.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate or law-firm experience advising on software and AI.
• Experience with AI, software and non-transactional legal matters.
• Knowledge of SaaS licensing and AI-related contract structures.
• Ability to work US time zones; strong multitasking and cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assess new AI and data offerings and provide go-to-market legal guidance.
• Serve as a legal SME for AI, software and data products.
• Advise contracting teams on AI-related playbooks, templates and selected deals.
• Support legal evaluation of prospective AI and data acquisition targets.
• Research emerging laws and regulations affecting AI, SaaS and data products.
• Improve legal processes, tools, workplans and guidance materials.
