Job summary

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree with bar admission.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate or law-firm experience advising on software and AI.
• Experience with AI, software and non-transactional legal matters.
• Knowledge of SaaS licensing and AI-related contract structures.
• Ability to work US time zones; strong multitasking and cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Advise an AI & Data business on new technology services and products as they move to market. You will provide practical product-counsel support, assess legal and regulatory risks, and collaborate across intellectual property, privacy, regulatory, contracting and corporate transactions teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess new AI and data offerings and provide go-to-market legal guidance.
• Serve as a legal subject-matter resource for AI, software and data products.
• Advise contracting teams on AI-related playbooks, templates and selected deals.
• Support legal evaluation of prospective AI and data acquisition targets.
• Research emerging laws and regulations affecting LLMs, generative AI and agentic AI.
• Improve legal processes, tools, workplans and guidance materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate law degree/JD and admission in good standing with an applicable bar association, or local equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant corporate or law-firm experience, ideally advising on software and AI.
• Relevant AI, software and non-transactional legal experience.
• Knowledge of SaaS, software-licensing and AI-related contract structures.
• Able to work US time zones.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Fluent English and strong communication across global, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
