Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation solutions that streamline processes and boost operational efficiency. You will work with business and technology teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, reliable solutions using RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities include developing automated solutions, building reusable libraries, and implementing robust error handling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in RPA development.
• Experience with PowerPlatform, Power Automate and GitHub.
• Proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms and related tech (Automation Anywhere, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Knowledge of programming/scripting to extend platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into automated solutions.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain automation and AI solutions.
• Create and maintain reusable script libraries.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and exception management.
• Conduct performance and regression testing.
• Collaborate with analysts and Scrum team to deliver requirements on time.
• Participate in Scrum events and document automations.
