Job summary

ESOL IT SERVICES INC. is seeking a Scrum Master in the Makati area to serve as a servant leader and Agile coach for the Product Team. You will guide Agile adoption, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement to ensure consistent product delivery.

You will coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices, promote collaboration with stakeholders, and help evolve high-performing, self-managing squads. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Scrum Teams in an IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Experience with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and cross-team planning.
• Demonstrated servant leadership, Agile coaching, and team facilitation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to foster self-organizing, high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project tracking and backlog management.

Job Summary

The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader and Agile coach for the Product Team, supporting the adoption of Agile principles, frameworks, practices, and tools. This role facilitates Scrum ceremonies, promotes collaboration and self-management, removes impediments, and drives continuous improvement to ensure predictable and effective product delivery. The Scrum Master also coaches team members on Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices to foster high-performing teams and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and promote Agile methodologies by coaching and mentoring development teams on Agile standards, principles, and best practices.

• Encourage team collaboration, self-management, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify, address, and remove impediments that affect team progress, productivity, and delivery.

• Promote an Agile mindset through teaching, mentoring, and coaching, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective implementation of Scrum and SAFe practices to maximize value delivery.

• Represent the team in broader planning and coordination activities, including Scrum of Scrums and other Agile Release Train (ART) events.

• Support the onboarding of Agile roles and help team members develop proficiency in Agile practices and delivery models.

• Monitor team progress, identify opportunities to eliminate waste and delays, and improve workflow efficiency.

• Encourage continuous learning and participate in communities of practice, training, and other professional development activities.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement and advancement of Agile practices across the organization.
