University of the Philippines-Diliman - Government is seeking a capable administrator to oversee the Building Maintenance Section, ensuring timely and effective delivery of maintenance and technical support services.
You will supervise BMS personnel, coordinate with offices, process requests, prepare communications and reports for the Dean, and monitor procurement plans and budgets. This role encourages process improvements and adherence to university procedures.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Building Maintenance Section to ensure the timely, efficient, and effective delivery of maintenance and technical support services.
Provide overall supervision and direction to the Building Maintenance Section (BMS) personnel, comprising one Draftsman, one Electrician, one Senior Office Aide, two Carpenters, and one Emergency Electrical Staff.
Serve as point person and attend to all BMS related queries. Coordinate/communicate with various offices such as OCA, CMO, OVCPD, etc. on matters requiring their action/assistance.
Supervise and oversee the processing of all BMS requests
Prepare various communications, memo, reports, etc. on behalf of the Dean in relation to BMS functions and operations.
Oversee the processing of purchase requests and regularly monitors inventory records of supplies and materials of the BMS.
Oversee the preparation and ensure the timely submission of the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) for BMS
Make proposals, innovations and streamline BMS processes and procedures Review current procedures regularly.
Approve Budget Utilization Requests through BULSA and certify copies of documents as true and correct as necessary attachments for processing of transactions
Ensure that documentary requirements for Purchase Requests, Petty Cash Advances and Disbursement Vouchers are complete before forwarding them to the SPMS or FAS.
Perform miscellaneous work-related duties that may be requested by the Dean from time to time
