Overview:To provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
Transcribing dictation
Drafting and formatting letters
Scanning and saving documents the document management system (Time Matters aka TM) in a proficient manner
Answering and directing attorneys' phone calls
Keeping attorneys' calendars up to date
Open and closing files
Converting documents from pdf to MS Word format
Filing
Receiving and sending mail
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates' degree or equivalent years of experience.
Two years' law firm experience.
Experienced and skilled in computer systems in a windows and Microsoft based environment.
Transcribing.
Ability to learn new software systems easily.
Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
Superior listening, oral and written skills.
Service oriented and has a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
Operates with integrity and honesty.
Treats others how they would want to be treated.
Displays a positive, constructive, can do attitude.
