Job summary

Insular Oil Corporation in Davao del Sur is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the acid treatment process in CME production. Responsibilities include preparing and handling acids, monitoring pH levels, troubleshooting equipment, and following safety protocols. Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work under varying plant conditions.

Controls and carry out the acid treatment process to remove impurities in by-product (Acid Oil, Glycerin and Wash Water) in CME production.

General Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle acid (Hydrochloric and Sulfuric Acid)
• Monitor pH to ensure proper neutralization (not over- or under-acidified)
• Monitor, control and record readings during the acidulation stage
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues
• Record batch data (materials, conditions, yields, issues)
• Follow plant safety rules and chemical handling procedures
