Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor refining units and equipment such as pumps, heaters, compressors, and distillation columns.
• Adjust control settings to regulate process variables including temperature, pressure, flow rate, and levels.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks on equipment to identify irregularities or potential issues.
• Record operational data such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates accurately in logbooks or computer systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations by taking corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other operators, maintenance, and control room personnel to maintain smooth operations.
• Participate in shutdowns, startups, and emergency procedures as required.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of plant equipment and work areas.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications
