Job summary
Acquire Intelligence in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to oversee daily AR operations, ensure timely collections, correct cash postings, and maintain customer accounts. You will supervise staff and drive process improvements to support cash flow and financial accuracy.
The ideal candidate possesses strong English, a finance qualification, AR/finance experience, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP/NetSuite).
Qualifications
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal).
- Relevant accounting or finance qualification with prior Finance & Accounting experience.
- Proven Accounts Receivable and/or finance operations experience.
- Previous Team Lead or supervisory experience.
- Experience in a BPO or Shared Services environment.
- Multinational company experience preferred.
- Experience in process migration or knowledge transfer projects.
- Proficiency in large ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, etc.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
- Strong process improvement mindset and efficiency gains.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the Accounts Receivable team.
- Assign and monitor daily workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development.
- Assist in hiring and training new team members.
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of balances.
- Review and approve account reconciliations and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate cash application and posting of payments.
- Handle escalated customer disputes and complex collection issues.
- Analyze AR aging reports and KPIs.
- Provide regular updates on collection performance and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency.
- Support system enhancements or ERP implementations related to AR.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for AR functions.
- Ensure that PEAMs are served to all staff.
- Develop, drive and report on team KPIs.
- Coordinate with all departments to meet campaign needs.

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, accurate application of payments, and maintenance of customer accounts. This role supervises AR staff, drives process improvements, and collaborates with internal departments to support cash flow and financial accuracy.

- Experience working with Australian company financials is preferred but not essential.
- High degree of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
