Job summary

Easyeats Food Products Trading Co. is seeking an Accounting Associate (AR) to join the Accounting team on a full-time basis. Based in Umapad, Mandaue City, Cebu, you will manage customer accounts, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate financial records supporting the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities include AR processing, collections, statements, reconcilations, and collaboration with sales and finance to ensure precise record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Secondary or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for large datasets.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Prepare and send customer statements and collection notices.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts and billing.
• Maintain detailed records of all AR activities and transactions.
• Reconciling customer accounts and preparing aged receivables reports.
• Assist in credit control activities and negotiate payment terms.
• Support month-end and year-end closing related to AR.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment schedules and inquiries.
• Collaborate with sales and finance to ensure accurate record-keeping.
