Job summary

Xinyx Design is seeking an experienced Accountant in Metro Manila to handle day-to-day accounting transactions, review vouchers, and prepare AR/AP reports under the Accounting Supervisor. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and collaboration with teams to optimize processes.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Xero or NetSuite, with duties including month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting system

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) required.
• 2–5 years in accounting (AP/AR/general) preferred.
• Experience with Xero or NetSuite required.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process and post day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Review the accuracy and completeness of disbursement vouchers, journal vouchers, petty cash replenishments, liquidations, reimbursements, cash advances, allowances, and payroll entries.
• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile AR/AP reports, aging schedules, customer and supplier balances.
• Monitor customer collections, overdue receivables, supplier invoices, and payment due dates; coordinate to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare client invoices and BIR Form 2307; coordinate with customers and suppliers for billing requirements.
• Monitor daily cash position and assist in cash forecasts and payment schedules.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and timely submission of reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required accounting records.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement automation and standardized procedures.
