Job summary

Handyman Do it Best Philippines is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead AR operations, oversee collections and credit control, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role focuses on process improvements to support the company’s financial goals.

You will manage the AR team, strengthen internal controls, and drive timely reporting while collaborating with other finance functions. A CPA is advantageous, with 5+ years in accounting and 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong background in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Management, and Financial Reporting.
• Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, including billing, collections, account monitoring, and customer account management.
• Oversee credit evaluation activities, monitor customer exposures, and ensure compliance with approved credit policies.
• Review AR reconciliations, aging reports, and month-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, address audit findings, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage, coach, and develop the AR team while driving continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
