About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Collections Analyst - Night Shift (Weekends off) to join our dynamic collections team at TATA Consultancy Services (Philippines) Inc. This is a full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our accounts receivable operations and driving collections efforts to ensure timely payment recovery. You will work the night shift with weekends off, providing essential support to our global client base during extended business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and accounts receivable balances, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up

• Contact clients and customers to inquire about overdue payments, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve billing disputes

• Prepare and analyse collections reports, aged receivables schedules, and other financial documentation to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Document all collection interactions and maintain detailed records in the appropriate systems for audit and compliance purposes

• Process payments received from clients and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and support customer relationships

• Identify and elevate accounts requiring legal action or write-off consideration to senior management

• Maintain knowledge of company policies, credit terms, and relevant regulatory requirements in collections practices

• Provide support during month-end and year-end close processes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial role, preferably in a call centre or customer service environment

• Strong knowledge of collections processes, credit management, and accounts receivable best practices

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate professionally and tactfully with clients

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial records and data

• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues

• Ability to work independently during night shift hours while maintaining productivity and quality standards

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to maintain professional relationships whilst pursuing outstanding payments

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• Preferred: Previous experience in a BPO or outsourcing environment supporting international clients

• Preferred: Familiarity with collections metrics and KPIs
