Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader for the Metro Manila area. The role oversees daily AP operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, coding, and timely payments while guiding the AP team to deliver high-quality financial control. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience leading or supervising an AP team.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes and timeliness.
• Ensure invoices are coded to general ledger accounts.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee payment runs and month-end activities.
• Ensure GST/compliance and audit readiness.
• Monitor aged payables and provide management insights.

What You'll Do

The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations. The role leads and develops the AP team, drives process improvements, maintains strong internal controls, and supports the broader finance function in achieving organisational objectives.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team.
• Allocate workloads and monitor team performance against KPIs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Accounts Payable Operations

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process.
• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure invoices are coded correctly to general ledger accounts.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee payment run process.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, GST requirements, and audit standards.
• Monitor aged payables and provide insights to management.

What You'll Need

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting systems.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
