Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring an Accounts Payable Lead to manage daily AP work, lead a small team, and ensure timely payments across multi-currency operations. The role is onsite at Two-Ecom Center, Pasay City, with night shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multi-regional and multi-currency organization.
• Proven experience leading, supervising, or coordinating an AP processing team.
• Strong experience working within monthly accounting close timetables and ensuring internal controls operate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage team performance against SLAs and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workload allocation, train team members, and oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee end-to-end AP activities, including three-way invoice matching, exception resolution, and timely payment disbursements.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex invoice, payment, and vendor processing issues to determine root causes and solutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to standardize accounts payable workflows and strengthen controls.

Your Role
As an Accounts Payable Lead, you will:

• Manage daily workload allocation, train team members, and oversee individual and team performance against established KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee end-to-end AP activities, including three-way invoice matching, exception resolution, and timely payment disbursements.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex invoice, payment, and vendor processing issues to determine root causes and solutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, operational policies, procedures, and internal/external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to standardize accounts payable workflows, reduce manual processing efforts, and strengthen controls.
  

What You Need
Non-negotiables

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multi-regional and multi-currency organization.
• Proven experience leading, supervising, or coordinating an Accounts Payable processing team.
• Strong experience working within monthly accounting close timetables and ensuring internal controls operate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage team performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment handling global operations.
• Hands-on proficiency with automated AP workflow tools (e.g., Esker, Coupa) and enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced functions).
• Fluency in the Spanish language (spoken and written).
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset for service delivery.
