Job summary

The Arcticom Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to help manage the outflow of capital with a high degree of accuracy in a deadline-driven environment. You will process invoices, verify expense reports, and reconcile accounts to ensure timely payments and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in AP, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with AP automation; experience with Great Plains is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience (industry-specific experience preferred).
• Familiarity with AP automation is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are a plus.
• Recent experience with Great Plains is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive invoices from mail and email daily and route to appropriate department.
• Enter a high volume of invoices daily with accuracy and attach supporting documentation.
• Verify expense reports and other invoices for payment eligibility.
• Reconcile credit card statements and ensure vendor accounts are properly set up.
• Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to facilitate timely payments.
• Assist with accounting records and audits by maintaining accurate ledgers.
