We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Senior Associate to oversee complex financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide leadership support across the team. The role will serve as an SME and escalation point for complex cases while driving process improvements, stronger controls, and operational efficiency.
Manage team workload, service levels, escalations, and operational performance in a high-volume environment.
Oversee advanced AP activities, including reconciliations, adjustments, write-offs, accruals, journal entries, and month-end close support.
Review financial transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, SOX controls, and audit readiness.
Serve as an SME and escalation point, while coaching team members, supporting onboarding, and collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
Drive process improvement, automation, UAT, BRD, and project initiatives, using operational and financial data to improve controls and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–7+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, financial processes, or a related field.
At least 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, write-offs, and month-end close activities.
Experience with SOX, financial controls, audit support, and compliance processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root-cause analysis.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Strong coaching, stakeholder management, escalation handling, and decision‑making skills.
Experience with UAT, BRDs, process improvement, automation, or project implementation is an advantage.
Familiarity with relevant DGEM technologies or systems is preferred.
Minimum English proficiency of CEFR B1 (Intermediate) or equivalent.
Willing to work in a hybrid, night shift setup in McKinley West, Taguig
