Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our finance team by processing AP and AR transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with routine reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with common ERP systems. This full-time role is based in Metro Manila and requires on-site collaboration with the finance team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related finance functions.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry into the accounting system.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors within established timelines.
• Monitor outstanding payables and assist in resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices.
• Record customer payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection efforts.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare routine financial and operational reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and update accounting schedules and spreadsheets; ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist with audit requests and documentation preparation as needed.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments regarding billing, payments, and account inquiries.
• Support special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
