Job summary

Suzuki Auto La Union - Accounting Department is seeking an organized and diligent cashier/Accounts Payable assistant. This role supports payment processing, check runs, deposits, and receipt issuance with emphasis on accuracy.

You will handle cash transactions, ensure documentation integrity, and coordinate with branches and banks. Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be an Accounting graduate or any related course.
• With experience in accounts payable.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
• Proficient in data entry; Can work under pressure.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent in organizing and prioritization.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Hardworking, responsible and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check requests for payment approval.
• Process check runs (issuing checks with check voucher).
• Send checks and documents with transmittal to branches through pouch (LBC/2Go).
• Inform branches by email about online deposits.
• Ensure attachments for documentation are complete and correct before approval.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Attend to customers to collect payments for products or services.
• Issue Original Receipts with accurate amounts.
• Ensure invoices are signed by authorized signatories before gate passes after payment.
• Act as petty cash custodian and liquidate cash advances.
• Maintain security of the cashier area at all times.
• Coordinate deposits with the bank when needed.
