Job summary

Fleet Management Training Institute Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring timely, accurate vendor payments, crew claims, and other disbursements while strengthening controls and service to internal and external stakeholders.

You will direct a high-performing team, drive month-end close, vendor master maintenance, tax compliance with BIR, and ongoing automation initiatives within a shipping-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and BIR compliance.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems and Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full Accounts Payable cycle including invoice validation and payments.
• Lead daily AP operations and ensure accuracy within timelines.
• Support month-end/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Maintain vendor master data and respond to inquiries.
• Drive process improvements and automation in AP.
• Ensure tax filings and regulatory compliance (BIR).
• Develop and coach the AP team and monitor KPIs.
