Job summary

Confidential is seeking a detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Specialist to support accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in Metro Manila. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Solid experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliation activities.
• Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial controls.
• Experience with tax and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations, and investigate variances.
• Maintain accounting records, databases, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and account adjustments.
• Perform foreign currency and cash revaluation activities.
• Prepare and maintain weekly funding requirement schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
