We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support our accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable activities. This role is responsible for processing invoices and payments accurately and on time, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with reconciliations and other accounting tasks.
Process and record vendor invoices in the accounting/ERP system.
Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documents.
Prepare payment registers, obtain necessary approvals, and process payments.
Set up and maintain vendor records, ensuring all required documentation is complete and up to date.
Monitor vendor balances and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment or documentation issues.
Monitor and process corporate credit card reconciliations.
Process and monitor cash advance liquidations.
Identify and follow up on outstanding or open payables.
Assist the Accounts Payable team with monthly and quarterly inventory counts and other accounting activities as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
Familiarity with different payment methods and accounts payable processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
