Job summary

MicroSourcing in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounts Officer to join the Finance Team in a remote, day-shift setup. You will manage day-to-day AP and AR, support banking reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, solid Excel skills, and strong attention to detail. This position offers healthcare coverage from day one, bonuses, and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on AP and AR processing experience.
• Experience with accounting systems/ERPs e.g. Jobpac or similar.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance Team to deliver on calendar and priorities.
• Manage day-to-day AP/AR, accounts mailbox and other finance tasks.
• Prepare reconciliations for banking, AP and AR; investigate variances.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Finance Team led by our Financial Controller to deliver on the team calendar and priorities.
• Manage the day-to-day AP and AR transactions, Accounts mailbox and undertake other various finance tasks.
• Prepare reconciliations for banking, AP and AR, investigating and resolving variances.
• Support the broader Project Team with accounts queries, finance procedures and the use of our finance software.
• Build knowledge of our business and be an active part of the whole team.
• Provide varied support to the Finance Controller and CFO.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role - experience within the Construction/Trade/Property Industry preferred but not essential.
• Hands-on AP and AR processing experience along with a good understanding of financial processes and basic accounting.
• Experience operating industry-based accounting systems/ERPs – experience in Jobpac or similar system highly regarded.
• Intermediate computer skills, especially with Excel.
• Well organised and able to close out tasks efficiently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff, suppliers and clients.
