Job summary

MicroSourcing, located at Harton Corporate Center, Parañaque City, seeks an Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations, in a hybrid setup.

You will handle journal entries, accruals, payroll, and month-end closings, producing monthly reports and analyses to support management decisions. A CPA or equivalent and multinational/SSO experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full-charge accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• CPA qualification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As an Accountant, you will:

• Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, payroll, intercompany, and month-end adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities within agreed timelines.
• Generate monthly reports and variance analyses to support business decision-making and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of full-charge accounting experience handling a complete set of accounts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups).
• Proven track record in managing month-end/year-end closes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience in a multinational company, shared services, or BPO environment.
• Hands-on experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Strong capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and resolve process discrepancies.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and maintaining internal financial controls.
