Job summary

Acquire BPO is seeking an experienced Team Manager - Accounting to lead the accounting team, review trial balances, and ensure timely, compliant close across our global operations.

You will implement robust controls, support audit activities, and coordinate with departments to meet campaign needs while driving performance and growth within a dynamic finance function.

Qualifications

• D365 experience preferred.
• General Accounting experience required.
• BPO/shared services experience advantageous.
• Experience with Australian company financials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and review trial balances and management reporting outputs for policy compliance and publication readiness.
• Manage daily operations of the accounting team and provide guidance for timely closes.
• Lead the implementation and monitoring of accounting controls and standards with high compliance.
• Oversee audit processes and provide audit workpapers per schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of Tax & Compliance activities and month-end closing.
• Coordinate with departments to meet campaign needs and support resource planning.
• Conduct performance reviews, development plans, and coaching for team members.

A Glimpse into Your New Role

As an Team Manager - Accounting , you will be:

• Analyse and review trial balances and management reporting outputs to ensure accounts are standards/policy compliant, error-free and publication ready
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team
• Provide guidance and direction to accounting team members to deliver an accurate and timely close
• Lead the implementation and monitoring of accounting controls and accounting standards, ensuring high compliance is achieved
• Oversee with the audit process for and provide audit workpapers as per audit schedule
• Oversee the delivery of all Tax & Compliance activities against agreed deadlines and in line with requirements
• Ensuring Adherence to Month end closing
• Anticipate and assess internal resource constraints and request/escalate to the Finance operations Manager for support as required
• Escalation and Issue resolution
• Ensure that PEAMs are served to all staff.
• Develop, drive and report on team KPIs
• Coordinate with all departments within the company to meet campaign needs.
• Facilitate performance reviews, development plans, and coaching sessions for all team members.
