Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee transactional accounting and financial reporting, working in a hybrid team environment. You will coach, train, and manage staff while supporting the manager and ensuring accurate ledgers, reconciliations, and tax audits.

You will review AP/AR, inventory movements, month‑end journals, and monthly financial reports; prepare consolidated client financials; drive recurring client calls; and help onboard new clients.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to participate and be involved in all aspects of accounting, working from the transaction level through the financial statements level, using the latest in cloud computing technology, in a supervisory position. You will take a leadership role in the team by coaching, training, and task management, and support the team and manager. You will work closely with a team of accountants to manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts.

• Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Review and analyze inventory movements
• Review Month-End journals and closing adjustments and reconciliation entries
• Review technical memos and process documentation and monthly financial reports
• Preparation and completion of consolidated client financials
• Drive recurring client calls
• Direct contact of the client on issues and queries that are not usual in the closing process
• Initiate and manage client interactions and relationships
• Motivate, review, and guide staff performance
• Prepare monthly Scrubbed’s client bills for managers’ review
• Assist the manager in some admin work (track sheet, KPI analysis, and carrying out action items)
• Assist manager in the onboarding of new clients
• Perform another task that may be assigned from time to time

• At least 1-3 years of relevant senior or supervisor experience
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
• CPA Licensure is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex financial data in clear, straightforward language
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong critical thinking and leadership skills.
