Job summary

Keyland Corporation in the Philippines seeks a qualified accounting professional to supervise the company’s accounting functions and day-to-day operations. The role requires strong knowledge in financial reporting, regulatory and tax compliance, and the ability to lead a team.

You will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, review balance sheets and GL accounts, handle tax compliance and BIR filings, and assist auditors during audits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy and CPA.

Job Description:

• Supervise and oversee the company’s accounting functions and day-to-day accounting operations.




• Must have strong knowledge and experience in Financial Reporting, Regulatory Compliance, and Tax Compliance.




• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.




• Review balance sheets, general ledger accounts, income statement schedules, and other supporting financial records.




• Handle tax compliance, preparation and filing of tax returns, and transactions with government agencies, particularly the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).




• Assist BIR examiners and external auditors during audits, examinations, and other compliance-related activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a graduate of BS Accountancy and must be a Certified Public Accountant.




• Should have strong analytical and planning skills.




• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.




• Excellent problem-solving skills.




• Must have the ability to multi-task.




• Must have experience in supervising and managing a team, with the ability to delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to staff.
