Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Metro Manila is seeking a licensed CPA to supervise their accounting system and provide financial statements. The role involves coordinating with IT, managing the accounting department, and ensuring compliance with obligations. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience and is amenable to onsite work. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, with company shuttle services available.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CPA.
• 3 to 5 years work experience in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the overall accounting system and provide monthly financial statements.
• Maintains the integrity of the company's accounting system.
• Supervise the accounting department in the proper performance of their duties.
• Supervise the accounting department in the proper performance of their duties and responsibilities.
• Furnishes reports needed by the management such as the monthly financial statements, sales summary, etc.
• Monitors all obligation due to BIR, SSS, HDMF, City Hall etc. are submitted paid on time.
• Monitors and minimizes discrepancies in the inventory records.
• Creates a monthly review of the result of the operations and gives recommendations to management.
• Sets-up and suggests improvements with respect to internal control.
• Coordinates with the consultant/auditor/lawyers regarding tax case/ problems.
