Millennium Specialty Coco Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting supervisor to oversee AR, AP, treasury, tax, and related controls.
You will supervise cash operations, review reconciliations, and help prepare financial statements and management reports from a manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3–5 years in General Accounting or treasury functions, and supervisory experience.
This role involves supervising and reviewing accounting functions including Accounts Receivable & Credit, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax & Compliance, and other assigned accounting activities. You will oversee cash and banking operations, ensure proper implementation of controls and Finance policies, and support financial statement preparation and management reporting.
Supervise and review the activities of Accounts Receivable & Credit, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax & Compliance, and other assigned accounting functions
Review and monitor Accounts Receivable aging, customer collections, credit exposure, credit limits, and overdue accounts, and ensure appropriate collection or credit actions are taken
Review significant customer account reconciliations, collection issues, credit applications, and recommended credit limits or payment terms prior to endorsement to the Finance Controller
Review Accounts Payable aging, supplier reconciliations, accruals, and payment schedules and ensure obligations are properly recorded and supported
Supervise cash and banking activities, including customer collections, deposits, check payments, online transactions, and monitoring of bank balances
Review bank reconciliations and ensure timely investigation and resolution of outstanding or unusual reconciling items
Supervise month-end closing activities for AR, AP, Treasury, Tax, and other assigned accounting areas, ensuring timely completion of reconciliations and supporting schedules
Review account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments relating to AR, AP, Treasury, Tax, and other assigned accounting functions
Monitor daily cash position, expected customer collections, upcoming disbursements, and funding requirements, and assist the Finance Controller in cash flow forecasting
Supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned Finance personnel and ensure timely completion of their duties and reporting requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferably at least 3–5 years of progressive experience in General Accounting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Taxation, or related Finance functions
Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred
Manufacturing or food‑processing experience is an advantage
