Job summary

I-Serve360 Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This full-time role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and supports the finance team to sustain growth and integrity of records.

You will lead accounting staff, coordinate with departments, implement internal controls, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in line with IFRS or local standards, while guiding the team toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS/local GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting staff, including data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
• Review and verify accounting transactions, journal entries and financial records for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances and reconciliation reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Monitor AP/AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Assist in audit documentation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets.
• Provide training and guidance to accounting staff on procedures and systems.
• Manage reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes including accruals and consolidations.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve accounting queries.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join I-Serve360 Corporation in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our Financial Accounting & Reporting department. As Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and provide strategic support to the finance team. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the organisation's continued growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting staff, including data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions
• Review and verify accounting transactions, journal entries and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances and reconciliation reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and collection of outstanding payments
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and coordinate with external auditors during audit periods
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and prevent errors or fraud
• Provide training and guidance to accounting team members on accounting procedures, systems and best practices
• Manage reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, adjustments and consolidation activities
• Liaise with other departments to resolve accounting queries and ensure accurate recording of transactions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and practices, including IFRS or local accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision in financial reporting
• Solid understanding of internal controls, audit procedures and financial compliance requirements
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop accounting staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines during busy periods such as month-end and year-end close
