Job summary

JF Draf Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and team leadership, with responsibilities including preparing monthly/quarterly reports, GL reconciliations, and assisting in budget control across departments in Quezon City. CPA is a plus and BS Accountancy is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting reports preparation.
• Assist staff in reporting and ensure accuracy/compliance.
• Analyze financial statements for GAAP compliance and accuracy.
• Identify potential cash flow issues and financial irregularities.
• Liaise with department heads to manage budgets and expenditure.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payments.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Supervise and guide account clerks and junior staff.
• Provide regular updates to management on company finances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Job description

Proven experience working as an Accounting Supervisor.

Assisting staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.

Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.

Identifying potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.

Liaising with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.

Accurately preparing tax returns and ensuring that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.

Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.

Supervising and providing overall guidance to account clerks as well as junior accounting staff.

Providing regular updates to management regarding company finances.

Ensuring that the company maintains compliance with accounting regulation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

Proven experience working as an Accounting Supervisor and experience in General Accounting, Financial Accounting and Tax Compliance.

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong management and leadership skills.

Effective Written and Verbal communication Skills, Time management, interpersonal skills and good working attitude.

Detail-oriented.
