Job summary

Pan De Manila is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team in delivering accurate financial reporting and compliance. This on-site role oversees daily accounting operations and ensures adherence to accounting principles, located at Santolan Town Plaza, San Juan City, Metro Manila.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in food manufacturing and retail, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and a CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a food manufacturing & retail company.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, financial reporting, and inventory costing.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance on complex accounting issues and fostering professional development.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing any findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency within the accounting department.
